What's going on
We've become aware of individuals who are purchasing the Kenso theme from us — the original source — and then turning around and reselling it to their audiences at inflated prices. They market it as if they built it, as if they're offering some exclusive deal, when in reality they're just middlemen profiting off your trust.
These resellers buy one copy of Kenso, then sell access to dozens of people — often for more than what we charge. You end up paying more for a worse experience: no direct support from us, no license tied to your name, no updates, and no guarantee that what you received hasn't been tampered with.
We want to be completely transparent about this because you deserve to know.
Known Reseller: Avvendor
One case we're calling out directly is an individual operating under the name "Avvendor" (also known as "AV VENDOR"). This person has been purchasing the Kenso theme from us and reselling it at a markup to their followers, presenting it as their own offering.

If you've purchased a Shopify theme from this individual or anyone claiming to sell "the best reseller theme" outside of usekenso.com, there's a real chance you overpaid for something you could have gotten directly from us — with full support, legitimate licensing, and every update we ship.
Why this matters to us (and to you)
We're a small team. We pour everything into building Kenso — every feature, every update, every line of code. When someone buys our theme and flips it for profit, it's not just a licensing issue. It undermines the trust we've built with this community.
But more importantly, it hurts you. Customers who buy through resellers don't get:
