Entering Your License Key
Your license key activates all premium sections and features in your Kenso theme. Without it, you'll see a setup screen asking you to enter it.
Where to find your key
Your license key is in your Customer Portal. It looks like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Use the copy button next to it to grab it.
How to enter it
- Go to your Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes
- Find your Kenso theme and click Customize
- In the theme editor, click the gear icon in the top-left corner — this opens Theme Settings
- Scroll down to the License section
- Paste your license key into the field
- Click Save in the top-right corner
Your store will activate instantly — all premium sections will appear and the setup screen will disappear.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid License Key" error? Make sure you copied the full key including all dashes. Try copying it again from the portal.
"Domain Not Activated" error? Your license is already active on a different store. Go to your portal and click "Change Domain" on the license to transfer it.
Still seeing the setup screen after saving? Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). If it persists, make sure the license key is saved — go back to Theme Settings → License and check if it's still there.
Can't find Theme Settings? In the Shopify theme editor, look at the very bottom of the left sidebar. There's a small gear icon — click it to access Theme Settings where the license field lives.
What happens after activation
Once activated, your license locks to your store's permanent Shopify domain (the .myshopify.com one). This is automatic and can be changed later from your portal.
Your theme will load all premium sections: header, hero, product grids, reviews, chatbot, spin wheel, bundle builder, and everything else. The activation is instant — no need to republish or restart anything.
